Pop star Katy Perry had a ‘limitless’ moment as she travelled to space with an all-women crew in the Blue Origin NS-31 Space Travel. This marks a historical moment as Perry and the five other women become the first all-female crew in over 60 years to launch into space.

The 11-minute suborbital flight lifted off from West Texas and returned to safety after racing to the edge of space. The video captured shows the International singer and other women experiencing a few fleeting moments of weightlessness and limitlessness.

Perry was joined by Bezos's fiancée Lauren Sánchez and CBS presenter Gayle King. Later, discussing the highlights of the fight, the two said it was hearing Perry sing Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World". After safely landing back on Earth, Perry expressed her emotions as she felt "super connected to life" and "so connected to love". In a picture now going viral, she was also seen kissing the ground after exiting the capsule.

"I think this experience has shown me you never know how much love is inside of you, like how much love you have to give and how loved you are until the day you launch," she said.

Katy Perry On Her Space Journey

Daisy, Perry’s 4-year-old daughter who was watching her mom take off—brought along a special memento.

"We had these incredible shots of Daisy watching you. She was so proud, she just kept saying, ‘Mommy, Mommy,’" reporter Charissa Thompson told Perry, who teared up while holding a real, single daisy. "Why was it important to bring it with you?"

"Daisies are common flowers, but they grow through any condition," said Perry. "They grow through cement, they grow through cracks, they grow through walls.
