Akshay Kumar refuses to slow down. At 57, he delivers an average of 4-5 films every year. Recently, we got to see him in the first teaser of Kesari Chapter 2, which left his fans impressed. Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the film will be set against the backdrop of the gloomy Jallianwala Bagh massacre, and have Kumar as lawyer Sir C Sankaran Nair. Sky Force was Akshay Kumar's first release in 2025. And he has four more films planned for theatrical premiere this year, Kesari Chapter 2 being one of them. The rest three are:
Kannappa (April25, 2025)
A Telugu fantasy film, Kannappa has Akshay Kumar in a cameo where he plays Lord Shiva. Kajal Aggarwal, his Special 26 co-star, will appear as Goddess Parvati. Alongside them, Mohanlal and Prabhas will also have cameo appearances in the upcoming movie. Kannappa, portrayed by Vishnu Manchu, is a legendary and mythological character and a devotee of Shiva. The film will probably celebrate his unwavering dedication to the Lord.

Housefull 5 (June 6, 2025)
The fifth installment of the famed yet controversial Housefull franchise, Housefull 5 was launched way back on June 30, 2023. However, the cast was announced after over a year in September 2024. Filming reportedly took place aboard a cruise ship for more than a month, where the team sailed from Newcastle to Spain, Normandy, Honfleur, and back to Plymouth. Apart from Kumar, Housefull 5 also has Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Bobby Deol, Fardeen Khan, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Shreyas Talpade, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Soundarya Sharma, and Chunky Pandey in the cast.
Jolly LLB 3 (September19, 2025)
The third part in the intelligently made Jolly LLB series and sequel to Jolly LLB 2 (2017), Jolly LLB 3 brings together OG Jollys, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi. The movie also stars Amrita Rao (who makes her film comeback after six years), Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor, and Saurabh Shukla. All the actors were a part of either of the two installments and will reprise their original roles in Jolly LLB 3.
