According to a BEST official, the bus was heading out from the Juhu bus depot when the incident occurred. A few moments after the accident, a security guard from the residence of Aishwarya’s father-in-law, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, allegedly slapped the bus driver. The official detailed the sequence of events, saying, “The bus driver got down to inspect the damage, and at that moment, a bouncer from a nearby bungalow approached and slapped the driver.”
Following the altercation, the bus driver called the police control room, and a team arrived at the scene promptly. “Once the police arrived, staff from the bungalow where the altercation took place apologised to the bus driver,” the official stated. The matter was settled peacefully, and no further action was taken. The bus driver chose not to pursue any formal complaints, and the bus continued its journey toward the Santacruz suburban station without any further incident.
