HZ Tried & Tested: Tjori's Anti Aging Coffee Gel Detailed Review

If you are on to the anti-ageing wagon then you should know that coffee is well known as an ingredient that does wonders for ageing skin. Since I am in my 30's and it is important to start taking care of our skin when we are in this age group I gave a try to this product of Tjori's called Anti-Aging Coffee Gel mask. Using it for the past 3 weeks I am ready with a review and here it is.

Claims

Rich in antioxidants, coffee fights the signs of ageing and reduces wrinkles and fine lines. This gel is formulated with glycerine and aloe vera gel and this silky smooth concoction paves the way to firm and toned skin while moisturising it to keep it soft.

Packaging

Made using a sturdy plastic, the bottle looks cute. It is a transparent bottle so you can see how much of your product is left. The branding sticker is very earthy and gives a very herbal and organic feel to it.

It also mentions the directions to using the product along with the ingredients it has.

Fragrance

It has a mild but that raw fragrance of coffee. It does not give you a headache is something I can assure you off as I often get headaches with strong smells and fragrances like lavender is not my forte at any cost.

My Experience

It is a very nice gel with a smooth consistency. It has a very light colour of coffee but you cannot really see it. It is very soothing when you scoop out a little and massage your face with it. As per the given directions let it sit on your face and neck for 5-6 minutes but I keep it for 10 - 15 minutes. Then wash it off with cold water and pat dry not wipe dry.

Never rub a towel on your face, it is very abrasive. Always pat it. I use it at night every alternate day. For the results, you won't see the first two weeks as it always takes some time for any serum or cream to show its effect. It is in the third week that I saw a crow line near my eye become light when I believed in this product hence the review came in a little late.

However, always do a patch test on the inside of your elbow when you use a natural product as every skin reacts in a different way. Mine is dry skin so it actually took to the product happily.
