Homemade Pure Kajal
For the eyes, a homemade kajal can never go wrong. This kajal is made with some sesame oil but you can also use mustard oil.
Ingredients
- Two katoris or bowls.
- A small lamp (diya) with oil and a wick in it
- A steel plate
- A handful of almonds
- Sesame oil
Light the diya and on wither side place the bowls. Put the steel plate on top of them, by balancing it on the bowls. Make sure that the flame touches the bottom of the steel plate. Now place an almond on the centre of the plate. Each almond should burn for around three minutes which includes burning both the sides. Do this process for all the almonds.
What happens is that the almonds release oil and then form soot. Once done, scrape out the soot using a knife and store it in a clean container. Add a drop of sesame oil to it and mix well to form your kajal.
For Glowing Skin
The swear by oil massaging as it stimulates blood circulation, and gives nice soft glowing skin. Also they are crazy about rose water and whole milk as toners. Apart from these two ingredients, the paste of curd and papaya is their BFF for a mask as it hydrates the skin.
