In the winter season, body lotions have a thinner consistency and at times last for a short period of time especially for the ones with super dry skin. Moreover, they are too expensive and we don't know how chemical-proof in the market. Which is why we have come up with a few easy to make recipes wherein you can churn out your own delicious-looking body butter.
The amazing factor about these jars of goodness is that they are solid at room temp but melt upon contact. It is the most effective on warmed skin after a shower.

- 14g emulsifying wax—not beeswax!
- 146mL distilled water
- 4g vegetable glycerin
- 1 drop of benzoin essential oil
- 2 drops cocoa absolute
Method:
- Mix in the wax, hazelnut oil, and cocoa butter into a small saucepan and melt over medium heat.
- While it melts, warm up some water and vegetable glycerin into a small glass for about 30 seconds. Stir it to combine.
