HZ Tried & Tested: Marks And Spencer Formula Skin Care Collection Detailed Review

Thanks to our busy work schedules, little do we have those 'me time' breaks. With almost no time for skincare, our skin starts to show signs of dullness, uneven skin tone, dryness, and clogged pores to name a few. I have a habit of tweaking my skincare routine with each season and this time, I thought of picking products that could help me restore, nourish, and brighten up my skin. 

When I picked these goodies from the Marks and Spencer Formula collection, my expectations were way too high keeping in mind the brand's luxury and quality factor. But did these products work for me? Here's my detailed review.

Packaging 

Both the products came packed in cardboard boxes. The products come in sturdy bottles. The day cream comes in a tub container and the cleanser in a pump bottle. 

My Experience 

It is quite challenging for someone like me with dry and sensitive skin to get my hands on the right skincare products. Being the skincare enthusiast I am, I enjoy trying out new formulations, and skin care now and then. I have been using Formula’s Prevent and Brighten Hydrating Cleanser and Restore and Nourish Advanced Replenishing Day Cream for over a month now. 

I have been beginning my morning skincare routine with a quick face wash with Formula’s hydrating cleanser. The texture is light, cream-like. This one isn’t a foamy face wash. It just blends into your skin beautifully and leaves it hydrated. For most face washes I have used for my skin, I struggled with the dryness after every wash. But this time, my skin felt softer and smoother and I could feel that the cleanser didn’t strip off the natural oils of my skin.

I follow it up with the day cream, a moisturising soft, non-sticky formula. Even though the texture might feel a little thick, it quickly absorbs into the skin and leaves a natural shine on the face. After a generous massage with this cream in the morning, I don’t feel the need for re-application throughout the day.

Verdict 

Overall, Formula's cleanser and day cream offers luxe skin care goodness. Both products are packed with ingredients like squalane, Scottish thistle extract, vitamin E (ways to use vitamin E), blackcurrant seed oil, and cocoa butter among others that are great for the skin. For the quality of products you get, this one is a good buy for the price. After using these products for over a month now, I have seen great results for my sensitive and dry skin.
