mamaearth review for cc serum price

All-in-one makeup products are the best. No? They come with the goodness of multiple ingredients so they aren't just pocket friendly but make it all the easier if you aren't a makeup person. When I first came to know that now there were CC products - serums, creams, moisturisers available in the market, I was excited to say the least. I am just too lazy to get into extensive makeup routines.

Ahead of the shaadi season, I was thinking of getting one all-in-one product like a CC foundation or cream and then I came across this CC serum by Mamaearth. Did it work for me? Should you buy it too? Read my detailed review here.

My Experience

mamaearth cc serum hyaluronic acid

Honestly, I am not a fan of exaggerating but this is one of the best makeup products I have come across in a long time. I am not a fan of foundations and compact powderand always wanted a product that doesn’t feel heavy on my skin and gives me a natural coverage. This one does the job. The serum is light in consistency and blends in quickly. It gives you an even skin tone and also works for pigmented spots on the face. For my face, my under eyes are the concerned area and the product helped me beautifully highlight them without making it feel like a makeup layer was added, it looked so natural. Also, I wore it for quite a few hours and it stayed intact, no patches, no cracks, I loved the consistency.

The bottle comes with a dropper just like a regular serum formulation. I also like the fact that a little product goes a long way. You don’t have to push in a lot of product on your skin to get that flawless base. You can also double it up if you have heavy pigmentation. The CC serum is available in three different shades, all curated to suit best for Indian skin tones. I used the shade Peach.

How I Used Mamaearth Hydra Glow CC Serum

I took a few drops of the serum and dabbed it on my entire face and neck. Instead of using a beauty blender, I used my fingers to gently blend in the product.

Pros

  • Non-sticky
  • Doesn't add shine to face
  • Gives a natural glow
  • Doesn't dry out the skin
  • Oil-free
  • Lightweight
  • Lasts long
  • Budget friendly
  • Lightweight

Cons

Since the serum comes in a glass bottle, it isn't very travel friendly.

Verdict

review mamaearth serum

If you are someone who isn't a fan of full-coverage, heavy foundations, concealers and serums, this is one product you should invest in. This CC serum has a lightweight consistency, and feels like second skin. Having said that, it can be built up for a heavier coverage. Price-wise, it is aptly priced for the quantity and quality. Overall, this one gets a thumbs up from me.
