HZ Tried & Tested: Laneige Water Sleeping Mask Detailed Review

Trying Korean skincare products and experimenting with different masks is something I have been doing for a while and this time I tried the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask and here is my detailed review on the same.

Claims

An overnight, moisture-recharging gel mask. Quickly absorbs while you sleep to deeply hydrate skin. Formulated with highly concentrated Hydro Ionized Mineral Water. Delivers intense doses of moisture to stressed and parched skin. Infused with orange flower, rose, and sandalwood; relaxes and comforts.

Main Ingredients

• Ionized Mineral Water and Ceramides
• Chestnut and Apricot Extracts: Gently exfoliate and brighten skin.

Packaging

It comes in a good quality aqua coloured glass jar. Along with the jar comes a little spoon with which you can apply the product. You don't have to dip in your fingers in the tub as it is unhygienic as well. The box also comes with a folded paper with instructions on how to use the product not just in Korean language but in English as well. The directions given by the brand suggest that after washing the face at night, just apply your toner and then take a little quantity and apply on the nose, cheeks, forehead, and chin in dots and then spread all over. Let the mask sit overnight and then wash it off in the morning.

Fragrance

It has a nice calming fragrance and the directions to usage as well it suggested that you smell it for half a minute before applying to calm down the senses.

My Experience

The mask has a beautiful scent which gets absorbed quickly. If you have dehydrated skin then this mask is perfect. Actually not just dry and dehydrated, this mask makes for a good night care routine step every alternate night just like our mask sheets. It is good to use as it adds to the steps we take for younger skin. There is a reason why Koreans use this product and their perfect glass skin is proof!

Pros

• Mild calming fragrance.
• Hydrates skin.
• Pricing is fine as a little goes a long way and it does enough to your skin.
• Lovely packaging
• It suits all skin types.

Cons

Travel-friendly if you buy the 25 ml bottle but the 70 ml one might be a bit heavy to carry around.

My Verdict

I am loving this sleeping mask as it has done wonders in hydrating my skin.
