Acrylic nails have dominated the beauty scene for a while because of their unique ability to give the illusion of length to your nails. But like all makeup, this too needs to be removed after a certain point in time.
It may appear nearly impossible to remove acrylic nails by yourself. Many women were stuck without a way to fill or remove their acrylic nails after all the salons shut down during the Coronavirus outbreak! Acrylic nails require skilled removal techniques that are just less of a hassle to get done at a nail salon. But there are some ways you can take off these nails at home as well if you are desperate or looking to save some money.
1. Cuticle Oil
The best way to remove acrylic nails is by using cuticle oil because it will nurture and mend your nails rather than stripping and harming them. For around five minutes, press a Q-tip dipped in cuticle oil against each nail, being sure to get the oil under any sections of the nail that have already begun to emerge. If you want a quicker solution, you can completely soak a cotton ball in the oil and hold it there, wrap it in tape, or use tin foil to hold it there for a few minutes until the nail is loose and can be pulled out.
2. Non-Acetone Soak
Put your fingers in a bowl filled with enough acetone-free nail polish remover to completely cover your acrylic nails. If necessary, let them soak for an additional 30 to 40 minutes. Reach for your tweezers once more to remove the acrylic nail from your natural nails when it starts to become loose. Although it could take longer, this method won't leave your cuticles and nails as dry and brittle.

3. Warm Water And Shampoo
Warm up some water. Add shampoo of your choice. Soak your hands in this mixture for a few minutes. Use a brush to gently scrub the area surrounding your cuticles. Use a towel to dry off your hands. Push the cuticle back by using a nail filer. Apply any moisturiser (5 Lightweight Tinted Moisturisers) or cuticle oil after using this technique.

4. Dental Floss
First, grab your cuticle stick, then use it to carefully pull the edges of the acrylic nail. This step might not require much work if your acrylic nails have already started to come free. Place a piece of dental floss below your acrylic nail after the edges have been raised. Till the acrylic nail pops off completely, carefully move the floss down the nail with your fingers.
