Monsoon skincare can be tricky, too much moisture in the air, unpredictable sun exposure, and skin that just doesn’t know what it wants. So, when I came across Gabit’s Green Tea Face Moisturiser and 100% Mineral Sunscreen, I decided to give them both a fair shot. With a clean ingredient list, a bit of buzz online, and a price that doesn’t burn your pocket, I was curious to see if they actually work. Here's how that went.
I’ve been using both products together for sometime now, through muggy days and weird sun-showers combo. And while I was sceptical at first, I mean, 100% mineral sunscreen that doesn’t leave a cast, I’ll admit I was pretty impressed.
First up, the moisturiser. It’s not too thick, not too watery, which is honestly ideal for monsoon weather. The green tea and salicylic acid combo helps with oil control and breakouts. I noticed fewer whiteheads around my chin and my T-zone stayed balanced throughout the day. It sinks in without feeling sticky and layers well under makeup or sunscreen. The added bonus was that it got some calming ingredients like Cica and Japanese Camellia that do help on inflamed or irritated skin days.
Now this was the real surprise. Most mineral sunscreens I’ve tried leave a greyish tint or just sit on the skin weirdly. This one blends in quite smoothly and has a soft finish. It didn’t clog my pores or break me out, and I liked that it felt like skincare too, thanks to ingredients like Vitamin E, oats, and Indian gooseberry. It did need a bit of rubbing in, but no cast in the end, so I’m not complaining.
Moisturiser: ₹427/-
Sunscreen: ₹465/-
This price point is pretty reasonable for what you're getting, especially considering the quality of ingredients.

If you're looking for an affordable, non-greasy, and gentle combo for the rains, this moisturiser and sunscreen duo is a solid pick. They do their job quietly and your skin feels balanced, protected and fresh, even on the most humid days. I’m definitely keeping these in rotation, and if your skin is anything like mine, you might want to give them a shot too.
