Here are some of the winter superfoods for moisturised skin:
Ghee – Copper Vessel Washed Ghee (Shata Dhauta Ghrita)
Divya Gandhi highlighted some of the ancient practises of preparing ghee. This ancient Ayurvedic preparation uses ghee washed in a copper vessel 100 times, transforming it into a super-hydrating balm. She recommends massaging it gently onto your skin to lock in moisture and soothe chapped areas. The copper adds antibacterial properties, making it a winter essential.
Aloe Vera – Aloe Vera And Sesame Oil Overnight Balm
Divya mentioned that Aloe Vera can be a great ingredient for radiant skin in winter. She recommends combining fresh aloe vera gel with sesame oil for a nourishing overnight balm. The aloe vera hydrates deeply, sesame oil, rich in Vitamin E, seals in moisture and repairs dryness. You can massage your face and hands before bed for soft, supple skin by morning.
