Don’t we love when it pours around us, the trees look fresher, our moods uplift and the smell of wet land just makes us feel that everything around us is good? But with monsoon comes extra care that we must do, for our skin, hair, clothes and what we carry with us. Many of us have slowly started to step out of our homes and it is really important that we carry absolutely necessary things in our bags so that rains can’t spoil our day out. Dr. Blossom Kochhar, Chairperson Blossom Kochhar Group of Companies has suggested a few essentials that you must carry with you all the time.
Sanitiser
This is the time when we need our sanitisers the most with coronavirus hovering over our heads.
Now more than ever we need a sanitiser, monsoon brings its own share of viruses and with corona virus always hovering over our heads, a good alcohol-based sanitiser is a must have. There are sanitisers that come with great fragrances, so choose your favourite smell and always keep it handy.

Mask & Gloves

It is safe to say now that you can step out without make up but not without wearing a mask. You should always wear masks and gloves when you step out of your homes and carry an extra pair of both in your bag especially during monsoon. You can stock up on colourful, washable handmade masks and make your own fashion statement.
Wet Anti Bacterial Wipes
Do not just carry any wet wipes but, anti-bacterial wet wipes, so whenever you step out you can clean your face and surrounding surfaces with it. As we all know, our safety is in our hands now.
Perfumes
During monsoon we usually feel a strange smell coming from our clothes; it is because of the dampness, so always remember to carry a good small perfume. A good fragrance can uplift your mood and also give you confidence.

Waterproof Kajal
More than half of our face is covered with masks but don’t let it bother your inner diva, this is the time to enhance your eyes, so always carry a good waterproof kajal with you and let your eyes shine.
Bright Lipstick
Everything that is going around can make you dull and gloomy but wearing a bright waterproof lipstick can do the trick. We all are wearing masks but do not forget to carry a good lipstick with you, once you take the mask - off, wear that lipstick and a big smile.
Eucalyptus Essential Oil
Monsoon can give you a running nose and especially in these times that is the last thing you want to get. Put 2-3 drops of eucalyptus oil on a tissue and smell it throughout the day. You will feel your nose clearing up in some time, because of the oil’s anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral properties. So always carry this oil with you especially during monsoon.
Lavender Essential Oil
Always carry this in your bag. Take 2-3 drops off it, smell it and it will instantly calm you down. A must-have oil in your bag as it can pep your mood up almost instantly.
Colourful Scarf
Monsoon can spoil our favourite shirt or dress, so to be ready for those times always carry a colourful and vibrant scarf which will bring any outfit to life and make your rainy day more special.
