HZ Tried & Tested: Better Body Bombay Hydrating Body Care Combo Detailed Review

Winters are almost here! It's that time of the year again when I struggle with dry, rough, and flaky skin. The chilly weather does that to my combination skin type. Every year around this time I invest in moisturising body care products to keep my skin smooth, and hydrated through the cold weather. This time, I got my hands on the hydrating body care combo from Better Body Bombay. I have been using the three product sets for a few weeks now and here is my detailed review.

Fragrance And Texture

The combo is packed with the goodness of coconut and aloe vera, the fragrance is soothing, it stays on for a couple of hours. The body wash has a thicker consistency than the hand wash and moisturising lotion but it doesn’t strip off the natural oils of your skin. All three products are gentle on the skin.

My Experience 

I have been using this hydrating combo from Better Body Bombay for a while now. One of the things I look for in body care products is consistency. I avoid picking lotions and washes that have a thicker consistency since for me, they always leave the skin sticky. Who likes that? Especially during the colder months of the year? I loved how the body wash, hand wash, and body lotion, all three products are light in consistency but work like magic. They feel light, your skin doesn't feel irritated or dry. The body lotion keeps my skin moisturised all day long. The fragrance, the combo - aloe and coconut is fresh. The body wash comes with sugar squalene, which gives a beautiful shine to the skin. 

The hand wash has to be my favourite among the three products. It has coconut extract, feels like a gentle cream on the skin, and leaves your hands scented for long. To be honest, I am currently obsessed with this recent purchase. It truly lives up to its claims. What more could I have asked for?

Verdict 

Keeping in mind the price point, quality, ingredient goodness, and packaging, this hydrating combo gets a thumbs up from me. It is just the combo you need this winter season. Even though the products have natural ingredients like coconut, and aloe vera, ideally, you should do a patch test on your hand to check if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
