For the millennial generation, travelling has become a new routine. These people love to travel, be it exploring their own country or foreign lands. It’s fun to be a temporary nomad and experience visiting different places, eat a variety, and most importantly, wake up without alarms. Travel is in the air, and a massive populace of youth is even looking at it as a great career choice; yes the “travel influencers”. It is a fortunate moment for everyone as people are quickly learning how to live with peace, despite working in the corporate humdrum. Here are a few new-age travel trends that are spreading like wildfire.
Nidhi Jain, Co-Founder, Rising Star Tours & Travels shared with us that the number of women travelers is increasing each day. She said, “The world is changing, and so are the archaic mindsets. Today, women are stepping out of their daily chores and getting employed with decent salaries. They are no more reliant on their parents or husbands to do what they love. Solo women travellers are thus increasing in masses; also those who like to travel with their group women companions. They are not limited to exploring their own countries but are going beyond the domestic lands for international trips. The new trend is giving great opportunities to travel agencies to introduce new travel deals to solo women travellers and other women groups. These agencies are now focusing more on the safety aspect of women during travel, and excluding males to be a part of the journey.”
Exploring The Less Explored
A lot of people now prefer travelling to foreign countries, and exploring the unexplored cities. A lot of them fit into your budget, they are less travelled areas, which give a chance to find hidden gems. Also, visiting these places gives you firsthand experience of diverse cultures, amazing architectures, and histories, which many travellers and tourists love to know. Taking Mini Trips
Today, a majority of millennial has shifted from planning long trips to short ones. A small trip doesn’t require big plans. It is like a short break from the daily humdrum of life. Research says that about 83 percent of millennials loveto take multiple short breaks than one long break in a year. Another survey says that frequent trips have a significant impact on the minds of travellers; the after-holiday moments of short trips are long-lived than a single long trip. Be it a friend’s wedding, a music fest, a sporting event, short breaks have become a necessity for millennial to keep their mind on peace and excel in their respective domains.
Love For Cruise Travels
Although for years, we have seen cruise travel as a swanky travel experience, the increasing middle-class incomes and pocket-friendly cruising packages have made it cheaper, which won’t hurt your pocket. Not only the youth, but the elderly also love to spend their vacations on a cruise. It’s a destination in itself with no hassles about where to stay, what to eat or where to drive. In such travels, you can take part in a barrage of events and activities; be it attending a show, jogging around, snoozing by the pool side, etc.
