Preaching Sherlock Holmes since childhood, who could have thought there would be its desi version released someday? Shekhar Homes featuring a stellar cast including Kay Kay Menon, Ranvir Shorey, Rasika Dugal, & Kirti Kulhari in prominent roles is all over our screens this week. Set in the 1990s backdrop of West Bengal's Lonpur, Shekhar Home is a web series that revolves around the story of a detective Shekhar (played by Kay Kay Menon) and his roommate/co-investigator Jayvrat Saini (Ranvir Shorey, fresh out of Bigg Boss OTT season 3 stint). Shekhar has the gift of drawing conclusions and solving murder cases based on minute details. Together they plan to form a detective agency, solving cases and minting money.

Shekhar Home Season 1 Plot

The trailer opens with Jayvrat Sahni (Ranvir Shorey) arriving at a guest house and forming a friendship with his eccentric roommate Shekhar, a detective. With his powerful observation skills and Jayvrat’s background in medicine, they begin solving local cases. Since this is a Holmes saga, we must meet the counterparts to other notable characters in Doyle's universe from Irene Adler, Mycroft Holmes and of course, the infamous Moriarty.
