The Kohinoor diamond, which is considered the most priceless diamond in the world, was originally found in India’s Golconda mines in the 14th century.

It was handled by Mughal princes, Iranian warriors, Afghan rulers, and Punjabi Maharajas, according to the BBC. In 1849, the Koh-i-Noor was given to the British under the terms of a punitive treaty signed with the Maharaja of Lahore. Since then, it has been a part of the British Crown Jewels.

The 75-year-old Camilla, the second wife of King Charles III, is now the Queen Consort.

Camilla was born in a family of aristocrats, who had long-standing ties to the British royal family.

The couple first met at a polo match and by the end of 1972, Charles had fallen head over heels for Camilla. But soon after, Charles had to leave for naval duty.

In 1973, Camilla got married to her longtime boyfriend, army officer Andrew Parker Bowles. But in 1995, soon after Charles revealed his feelings for Camilla in a TV interview, Andrew and Camilla got divorced. The following year, Prince Charles and Princess Diana, who were separated at the time, also finalised their divorce.

After marrying Charles in 2005, Camilla became the Duchess of Cornwall.
