The late rapper’s girlfriend has been making headlines ever since Lil Poppa’s sudden demise yesterday. His girlfriend is Toie Roberts, and the two also have a child together. Toie Roberts is the daughter of rap mogul Rick Ross. She is also an entrepreneur and the CEO of Ashanti Beauty. 

While Ross runs the Maybach Music Group, Lil Poppa was signed to Yo Gotti’s CMG label. The two are in the same industry, but what brought them together is their daughter and their son. Despite being in two competing labels, they didn’t let the rivalry come between their personal bond.

Lil Poppa And Toie Roberts's Child

According to several media reports, the late rapper and Toie started dating several years before they had a child together. Their relationship became public when Lil Poppa and Toie posed for Lil a maternity photoshoot in 2022. They welcomed their son, Kofi J’nar, on 24 June 2022. Toie later revealed that their son’s name, ‘Kofi’ reflects the Akan tradition of naming boys born on a Friday. 

How Did Lil Poppa Die? 

The late rapper’s sudden death left fans in shock. He was pronounced dead at 11.23 am ET, as per the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office in Georgia. The rapper’s cause of death hasn’t been revealed to the public yet.
