Who Is Tina Dutta? The 14th Contestant To Enter Bigg Boss 16

Tina Dutta is an Indian television actor and the 14th contestant to enter the Bigg Boss 16 house. She started her acting career when she was just five years old.

She has played many roles, but her biggest role yet was as Ichca in the 2009 Indian daily soap Uttaran. Due to her role in Uttaran, Tina became a household name in the country.

She recently entered the Bigg Boss 16 house and since then has opened up about her past relationships, created bonds with other participants and quarrelled with her friend and co-star Sreejita De.

Before entering the Bigg Boss 16 house, Dutta talked about being honoured to have been given this platform and opportunity. She mentioned how she was nervous, excited, and happy.

She also said how she wanted to “create an imprint on her fans' hearts forever” by being the most authentic version of herself.

The actor talks about how Bigg Boss is unlike any other reality TV show and also very hard to survive on. Which is why she has usually taken a backseat when it comes to joining the show as a participant.

She loves the show as an audience but is “yet to be ready as a participant.” Dutta says that participating in the show is her way of overcoming her fear.

When asked about her strengths and weaknesses, Dutta held back and said that she shouldn’t reveal all her cards right away and her strategies would unfold as the game goes on.

Tina’s Must-Haves Inside The House

Dutta is taking little more than her basic necessities inside the house with her. However, she wishes she had the privilege to take more things like protein bars and snacks along with her.

Dutta talks about how the pandemic has taught her a lot about patience and how she would be carrying that in the house with her. She says, “It is all in your mind,” and mentions how nobody has the power to enrage her or get a bad reaction out of her other than herself.

She will mostly miss the unconditional love of her two kids and also her family and friends.

The Actor’s Dynamics With The Housemates

In this first week of Bigg Boss season 16, Tina Dutta has been in the spotlight for several reasons. One of the reasons is her estranged friendship with actor and co-star Sreejita De.

Bigg Boss had called Dutta and De to enquire about their friendship. When asked about their friendship, the two seemed hostile to each other and broke into an argument.

Tina Dutta has also created a sweet bond with Abdu Rozik and has been seen harmlessly flirting with him. The audience is starting to like their cute chemistry and their funny conversations with each other.
