Uunchai Trailer: Big B Starrer Is A Tale Of Pure Friendship

The movie Uunchai stars Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Neeraj and Sarika, Parineeti Chopra, and Danny Denzongpa in the main roles. The movie is produced and directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya who returned to the big screen after seven years. His last movie was Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Sarika marks her comeback to cinema with this film since Baar Baar Dekho (2016). In October 2021, Parineeti Chopra joined the cast as a tourist guide.

In the trailer, we meet four friends, played by Bachchan, Kher, Denzongpa, and Irani. Denzongpa’s Bhupen has only one dream in life, to climb Mount Everest. But he passes away before he can realise his desire. No matter how many storms they must endure, his heartbroken friends decide to carry out his final desire and spread his ashes atop Everest. The group travels to the Everest base camp despite their old age and health problems. The film’s tagline says, “Friendship was their motivation.” We also catch a glimpse of three female leads: Parineeti, Neena, and Sarika. Will they be able to climb Mt. Everest (Meet Krushnaa Patil, Youngest Indian Female To Climb Mt. Everest) successfully or not? For this, we need to wait for the movie to release.

The filming began in October 2021 and ended in April 2022. It has been shot at various locations in Nepal (World's Highest Cafe In Nepal) including the world's most dangerous airports at Lukla, Kathmandu, Kargil, Delhi, Mumbai, and Uttar Pradesh. The character posters of senior Bachchan, Kher, Gupta, Sarika, and Chopra had the audience excited before the movie trailer release.
