This one is a popular traditional Indian wedding game for bride and groom wherein bride gets the groom's name written in her mehendi but gets it hidden with different alphabets written in different nooks and corners of the complicated henna design. If the groom loses, he will have to accept all the braggings of the bride throughout the wedding life. Well, at least that is what the traditional stories say.
Untying The Knot
The purpose of this dazzling Indian wedding game is to check the patience of the bridegroom and how is their coordination. Here what happens is the sister of the groom or one of the bridesmaids ties one hand of the bride and the groom with a thread consisting of multiple knots. The catch here is that the couple has to untie the knots with their free hands only. It is simple yet a rather meaningful wedding game which funnily, everyone loves watching.
Test Your Partner
In this game, the bride and groom bonding and compatibility are tested. It involves a pen and paper wherein both the bride and the groom have to write specific details about their partner like birthday, favourite colour etc. This is a great way of testing the strength between you and your partner.

Ring Fishing
This is a traditional game in most of the Hindu weddings wherein a huge bowl is filled with milk and water and some rose petals to for a dramatic touch and the mother-in-law places her ring in it for the couple to find. They can use only one hand. This idea behind the game traditionally is that whoever finds the rings first get bragging rights for the rest of their life.
Shoe Game
This is a rather popular game played at western weddings, but this shoe game has also taken Indian weddings by storm. What the bride and groom have to do is that they sit on chairs facing each other backs. Then, they have to exchange each other shoes and hold them to start the game. A person, which could anyone from their families or friends, will ask various questions related to both, which they have to answer by raising the shoe. The one with maximum right answers wins the game and gets a prize! In a way, it is about knowing your bond game. It is quite fun to watch for all and it also tells the guests about how compatible the two are in a way.
Memory Game
Which one of you has a better memory? Well, this game is here to test you. This mind-boggling game will is super fun and entertaining for your guests and for you as well! Your family or friends will put a few belongings of bride and groom on the table and ask you to view them for 10-15 seconds. Once they are done taking a long look at their belongings, tell them to write the name of belongings they remember.
Romantic Rhymes
This one is a very popular game in Maharashtra. In this game, a bride is supposed to fit the groom’s name in a two-liner poem. The bride has to make sure that both the line rhymes well. You can ask other couples to join the game and let them have fun as well!
Guess The Family Member
Except for a few family members, both bride and groom are not well aware with each other side. This game is an excellent and entertaining Indian wedding game to check out the couple guessing ability. This is super fun for sure! What happens here is that you bring out the family photographs album of both the sides and ask the bride to guess the family members of the groom’s side and vice-versa.
That Belongs to My Wife
In this game, you test the ability of the groom and other male members of the family on the test. Collect a few belongings of the bride and other female members and put all of them on a table. Ask the groom and other male members to identify the belongings of the groom. The game becomes more fun if there is a fun prize in the end
