The Bigg Boss 16 season has been the most misogynist and ageist one so far. Whether it was Archana Gautam saying Sajid Khan would not have come into the house if he was 52 years old or Farah Khan telling Tina Datta that a man (Shalin Bhanot) would react like that if a woman nags him.
All said and done, we are soon to enter the finale week and somehow Shalin Bhanot, a man walking with relationship red flags hoisted all over his body, has made it to the list of finalists. For those who have forgotten, his ex-wife Daljeit Kaur accused him of domestic violence and later pressed charges for attempted murder.
Aggressive Nature

Bhanot seems to have no control over his anger whatsoever. Whether it was mistreating an on-call doctor in the first few weeks of being in the BB house or losing control during many instances of his journey.
He was even called out by host and actor Salman Khan for the way he treated the doctor, and his constant request for chicken. However, Bhanot is not the only one with an aggressive nature.
Director Sajid Khan, rapper MC Stand, actor Vikkas Manaktala and politician Archana Gautam have been the same. They might have claimed to be the most righteous people on this planet, but they certainly lack maturity, irrespective of their age.
Misbehaviours
Apart from Gautam, Bhanot tops the list for misbehaving. Archana only considers herself superior to everyone, and in order to prove her point, blurts out the most insensible and hurtful things.
On the other hand, Bhanot is known to misbehave in the worst way possible. In one of the episodes, Datta confessed that he once flung a packet of cigarettes on her face. In another episode, we saw him throwing things around when he indulged in a war of words with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary.
A person like Bhanot can lose his calm in a fit of rage, and their partner would be at the receiving end of whatever he would throw their way.
Bad Mouthing People

Since Shalin Bhanot claimed many times that he had romantic feelings for Tina Datta, and he even confessed the same to Khan, it does not make any sense that he has bad-mouthed her several times.
Whenever they had a fight, he would go to every person saying that she broke him or broke his heart. He even cried for her in front of Gautam Vig. Around this time, Datta had told him many times that she only wanted to be friends with him.
Superiority Complex
Shalin Bhanot has a superiority complex. When Datta twisted her ankle, he reached there to help her and tried to pacify her despite the fact that she was saying no. Stan suggested that he must not do it but he said he had dealt with such problems as if he was a doctor.
In a task inside the Bigg Boss 16 house, Bhanot shouted at Datta that he knew better than her. She even suggested he not smoke in front of the camera because it was against rules and he had always promoted health. In return, he misbehaved with her and said that she did not know what she was talking about.
Why would you want to be with someone who does not respect your opinion and hear you out? He has always been quick to misinterpret what Datta had said to him in person or among other contestants of Bigg Boss 16.

Tina Datta is no saint, I agree. She was out of line and insensitive to mock Bhanot when he was experiencing a mental breakdown. But Bhanot had been a jerk to put every blame on her for allegedly faking it.
He pretended to be innocent much like what Datta claimed. When they were acting to be (or really were) together, Bhanot had told Datta several times that she did many things for the camera.
He himself claimed that she was faking her emotions on the show. How did he become a victim of something he himself was in the driver’s seat for? He never trusted Tina, yet he claimed she was the one who broke his trust.

Shalin Bhanot is a man with relationship red flags hoisted all over him. He has always portrayed himself as aloof, naive, and innocent despite also claiming several times that he knew A-Z about the Bigg Boss game and has a mastermind.
A few weeks back, we asked why Salman Khan was not being called out when his ex-girlfriend Somy Ali alleged that he abused her sexually and physically. Now we ask, why has no one on Bigg Boss, including Salman Khan, Farah Khan and Sajid Khan pointed fingers at Shalin Bhanot for the way he treated Tina Datta and the abuse he threw at the person he claimed to be in love with?
