Sara Ali Khan who debuted recently with the disaster romance movie Kedarnath has an increasing fan following. Scion of the Pataudi family, the actress has been in news for her stunning fashion sense and fat to fab story of her fitness. Being from a Bollywood family of well-read individuals, she is also pretty intellectually inclined herself.
Sara’s Love For Education
Sara Ali Khan says she knew that she had to join the world of acting ever since her childhood days but she knew that education is also an important part of life. But do you know that she got this passion for education not from her father Saif Ali Khan but her maternal grandmother Rukhsana Sultana?
Sara has admitted that she was quite a bookworm and still reads a lot. She feels that education gives you another level of confidence altogether. Her parents were very particular about her education and she was sent off to Columbia University in New York from where she graduated with a degree in law in the year 2016.
Sara revealed that her grandmother is the reason why she considers herself a learner but laments that fact that her grandmother died when she was only 10 months old. Whenever her mother Amrita Singh talks about her grandma and tells her how she got the traits to be studious from her, she gets sad as she never got to meet her.
Actress By Profession, Studious By Choice
Recently when Sara visited a museum in London, her brother Ibrahim had pulled her leg saying why does she want to visit museums as she is an actress now. Sara replied to this saying that acting is my profession but I personally love studying. Meeting new people, visiting different cities and understanding different cultures is something that I like doing, she said.
No wonder then that Saif Ali Khan calls his little girl a ‘thinking actress’!
