Bollywood's bad boy Salman Khan is at it again. A television journalist from Mumbai has lodged a criminal complaint against the ‘Bharat’ actor and his associates on charges of assault, threat and abuse. The journalist, Ashok S. Pandey, the Maharashtra head of JK24X7 news channel was the one who filed the criminal case before the 10th court in Andheri.
However, this is not Salman Khan's first tryst with the law. On September 28, 2002, Salman Khan's rammed his Land Cruiser into a bakery in Bandra, killing one person and injuring four, which resulted in a much-publicised case, while another case against him for blackbuck poaching is still underway.
Interestingly, Salman is not Bollywood's only resident bad boy, there are other celebrities from the industry who have had their fair share of brush with the law.
The Badshah of Bollywood was booked for allegedly destroying railway property during the promotion of his film ‘Raees’ at Rajasthan’s Kota Railway station. Not only this, back in 2002, he was caught manhandling a security personnel at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
While at the peak of his career the actor was arrested n April 1993 under the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities Act, for illegally possessing a 9mm pistol and an AK 56 assault rifle. It followed close at the heels of the 1992-93 Mumbai riots where Dutt was accused of complicity.

In March 2018, the actor was accused of spying on his estranged wife and acquiring her call details.
Once a rising star in Bollywood, Shiney Ahuja was sentenced to seven years of rigorous imprisonment on March 30, 2011 for sexually assaulting his 18-year-old domestic help.
The ‘Satyameva Jayate’ actor in 2006, had, rammed his motorbike into a bicycle and injured two people for which he was sentenced to 15 days of simple imprisonment for rash and negligent driving by a sessions court and taken briefly into custody. He was granted bail within hours.

Apart from the infamous blackbuck case, the chotte nawab of Bollywood had in 2012 allegedly punched a South African businessman Iqbal Sharma at a restaurant in Mumbai’s Taj Hotel.
Perhaps him getting arrested for trying to buy cocaine got Fardeen Khan more popularity than his movies. In May 2001, he was caught attempting to buy cocaine and was arrested from his Juhu home for possession of narcotics.

The actor got roped into controversy when he slapped one Santosh Rai who was an onlooker during his shoot and was harassing women.
The director was accused of rape by actor Preeti Jain, but the case fell through due to lack of evidence.
