The Mewar Dynasty is the Rajput royal family residing in Udaipur. It has given us prominent leaders like Maharana Pratap who fought in the Battle of Haldighati in 1576 against the British. The current patriarch Rana Sriji Arvind Singh Mewar is running thriving business ventures like the City Palace of Udaipur which attracts thousands of visitors yearly. They also run Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation and the HRH Group of Hotels.

The Royal Family Of Jaipur is thriving and working towards promoting their culture globally. The young head of the royal lineage, Padmanabh Singh is a renowned Polo player and model who has graced fashion shows by representing their traditional clothing internationally.

The Royal Family Of Travancore

Established in the 18th century, Kerala’s Royal Family Of Travancore is renowned for contributing to Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Moolam Thirunal Rama Varma, their current leader works towards educational and healthcare advancements through the Sri Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology.

The Pataudi Royal Family

One of the most popular and celebrated Royal families in India, the Pataudi Royal Family was established by Faiz Talab Khan in 1804 after he assisted the British East India Company in winning the Anglo-Indian War and became the Nawab of Pataudi. Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi and Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi were renowned cricketers, followed by the current patriarch Saif Ali Khan, a Bollywood actor walking in his mother Sharmila Tagore’s footsteps.
