Tennis Icon Roger Federer Surprises Young Fan By Fulfilling A 2017 Promise

Tennis champion Roger Federer has dominated the sport for many years, and even if his career is steadily edging closer to retirement, nothing can ever change what he has accomplished.

He was persuaded to play for a few more years by a very young fan who addressed him as "Mr. Federer" during a press conference so that they may face off when the fan could become a pro.

Federer smiled and made the young man a pinky promise, and he recently fulfilled that promise in the cutest way. Zizou was taken to a court where his longtime hero surprised him with a game after he enjoyed VIP treatment and quite the fan fare. Roger Federer was able to meet Izyan Ahmad, aka Zizou, a young tennis player who challenged Federer to a match almost half a decade ago, thanks to the help of his sponsor Barilla. Federer made the decision to fly to Zurich and meet the young fan because he had no scheduled tournaments.
