Richa Chadha-Ali Fazal 'Finally Celebrating' Their Union With Family & Friends

Actors Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal shared an audio message with their fans before their wedding festivities begin from Thursday onwards. The actors flew to Delhi for their pre-wedding celebrations. They mentioned that they have formalised their union in the voice recording from 2020. The couple shared a throwback photo of themselves along with the voice note on Instagram.

The note began with these words: "You've reached the voicemail of Richa and Ali." It was followed by an audio note by the couple, which said, "We have a message for you. Two years ago, we formalised our union and just then the pandemic hit us all, pressing a pause button on our celebrations and life." Fazal added, "Like the rest of the nation, we two were struck by personal tragedies one after another. Now as we all enjoy this window of respite we are finally celebrating with our families and friends and we are so very touched by all the love and blessings that are coming our way. We offer you nothing but our love. Thank you." They simply added the hashtag #RiAli to their post.

On Wednesday, the couple left Mumbai by flight. According to reports, Chadha and Fazal's wedding celebrations will start on September 30. According to the source, there will likely be three pre-wedding events: cocktail, sangeet (5 Upbeat Songs To Include In Your Sangeet Ceremony), and Mehendi, all of which would most likely take place in New Delhi, according to an ANI report. The Great Eastern Home in Mumbai will be the location of their reception. The 176-year-old location was once a mill.

The pair started dating in 2015. When the 3 Idiots actor posted a selfie with Richa Chadha on Instagram with the caption, "Hai toh hai," they made it Instagram official that they were dating. Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, who co-starred in the film Fukrey, also appeared together in Fukrey Returns. They also had extended cameos in Netflix's Call My Agent: Bollywood.
