Desi girl Priyanka Chopra is making waves in videsh by being named in top lists, being part of important events, becoming a regular face at some of the top chat shows in Hollywood and what not! It seems like she has the ‘Midas touch’ as this is one of the best phases of her life. After her much-publicised marriage to American singer Nick Jonas, Priyanka has not taken a backseat despite having a super-duper hectic schedule.

Priyanka Named Among Powerful Women In Entertainment

Priyanka Chopra has been named in a list of 50 powerful women from the entertainment industry by USA Today. The list has the likes of media mogul Oprah Winfrey, singer Beyoncé, TV personality Ellen DeGeneres and Oscar-winning actors such as Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicole Kidman, Viola Davis, and Reese Witherspoon. These women have been honoured for changing the game and redefining the entertainment industry with their work. Priyanka, who has been named earlier in Forbes 100 most influential list (November 2018) and Variety’s 500 Most Influential (December 2017), says she feels privileged to share the platform with these women.

Priyanka To Speak At Women In The World Summit

Her husband Nick Jonas maybe scaling the heights of success with his Billboard-topping song Sucker but Priyanka is also going places. She has been invited to talk about her career at the 2019 Women in the World Summit. Women in the World founder Tina Brown will interview Priyanka about her work as an activist and entrepreneur. Along with being UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador, Priyanka has a production house named Purple Pebble Pictures and has also invested in the dating app Bumble.

Iconic media personality Oprah Winfrey will deliver the keynote address at the event which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. The line up of speakers also includes Captain Marvel actor Brie Larson, actors Ashley Judd and Bryan Cranston as well as Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

Nick Jonas has revealed that he is open to collaborating on a song with wifey Priyanka Chopra Jonas. That does not sound surprising considering that Priyanka already has several hit pop songs to her credit and is now part of a very musical family after her marriage. Nick told People.com that Priyanka has an incredible voice and there’s a lot of music and dancing in the house. We just can’t wait to see both of them singing together and setting the screen on fire with their chemistry and charisma.

Right now, Priyanka Chopra is pretty busy as her show If I Could Just Tell You One Thing will premiere on 27 March.
