RRR

Besides being one of the highest-grossing regional films of the year, RRR has set records by taking to international platforms. RRR bagged nominations for Best Picture non-English language and Best Original Score at the upcoming Golden Globes Awards. The two nominations include Best Picture in the non-English category and Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu. The Boston Society Of Film Critics also awarded Keeravaani for his original score. Recently, MM Keeravaani won Best Original Score for RRR by the Los Angeles Films Critics Association. With an estimated budget of ₹550, the film collected an estimated ₹1,150–1,200 crores.

Since its release, the Mani Ratnam directorial, Ponniyin Selvan I has been making headlines with its success. The film had already crossed the lifetime collection of this year’s highest grossing Hindi film The Kashmir Files within ten days of its release and earned approximately ₹500 crores worldwide.
