7 Interesting Takeaways From Auto Expo 2023 Ft. SRK

Major car brands like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, MG, Kia, BYD, Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, and Tata Motors are participating in the event this year. Most of them are going the electronic and sustainable vehicle way to make their brands future appropriate. However, some key players like BMW, Skoda, Volkswagen, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and more have decided to keep a distance from the show. Similarly, no major two-wheeler brand is participating in the Auto Expo this year either.

When and Where:

The expo is largely being held from 11 January to 18 January 2023 after a gap of three years ticketed event, but it is open to the public between 13 January to 18 January 2023 at India Expo Mart which is located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh near the JP Golf Course

Time:

The expo will be open for media and business between 11 AM to 7 PM from 11 January to 18 January 2023.

Ticket Costs:

You can get your hands on the passes for Auto Expo 2023 at BookMyShow. The price for the passes on 14 January 2023 and 15 January 2023 is ₹475 and the cost for the rest of the three days are priced at Rs 350.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV

Actor Shah Rukh Khan unveiled the all-new Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV in India at Auto Expo 2023 today. The car will come at an introductory price of ₹44.95 Lakh and will offer a range of 631km on a single charge. The introductory price will be available for only the first 500 customers. It will only be the second car in India after Kona Electric to offer an all-electric powertrain.

The MG eHS Electric and MG4 EV

MG will launch one new electrified model every year for the next five years. Also, the brand has showcased the MG4 EV, Mifa 9 eMPV and the eS PHEV SUV.

The Lexus RX Hybrid SUV

Lexus unveiled the RX SUV, which will be available in two trims – RX 350h Luxury and RX 500h F Sport Performance. t will launch before the end of March 2023. The RX is a key volume seller for Lexus in India and it will not spawn a three-row derivative as of now.

The Kia EV9 Electric SUV & KA4 MPV

Kia is focusing on sustainability and has launched the EV9 Electric SUV & KA4 MPV at the expo.

The BYD SEAL

BYD India is all set to launch in the Indian market. The brand will unveil the BYD SEAL during its launch event held at the Auto Expo 2023, in Greater Noida.

While Tata Motors currently enjoy market share of more than 80% in EV segment, it is launching the Tata Harrier EV at the expo to beat market competition and to ensure it continues to hold strong.
