Neha Dhupia's Daughter Sure Is Lucky! Her Grandparents Are Super Doting!

Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi had their daughter in November last year right after 6 months of marriage. Yes, it was a hush-hush wedding and a shocker for the world and the news of Neha's pregnancy put many of us into a dilemma... well it was a talk of the town. But Mehr Dhupia Bedi, the couple's beautiful daughter was the best thing to happen to the parents and the grandparents.

How Did They Break The News Of The Pregnancy?

On March 18, 2019, Mehr had completed 4 months into this planet and her doting parents posted a beautiful image of her and Neha. While Neha had captioned the picture as: “Four months of pure unconditional love”, Angad had written: “Baby mehr you are 4 months old today .. I miss you both come home soon. @nehadhupia #voti.” Here is the picture:

Soon after Mehr was born, Angad Bedi’s father, Bishan Singh Bedi, had tweeted the first-ever picture of the baby. He tweeted a picture of the adorable baby, and posted: “U Little Beauty MEHR..another Lifeline for Grandparents...Both Maternal & Paternal..Aren’t we Blessed..?!! Yes All of it by Guru’s MEHR Only..GodBless Little One..Welcome to this Journey..Ordained by Almighty WaheGuru..!!"

And just a few hours back, Neha posted an Instagram story which reminded us of all the efforts our nanis make when we visit her! The image was that of a yummy blueberry cheesecake, which had the words: “Welcome home Mehr”, written on it with cream. However, Neha wrote the words, “Homemade #blueberrycheesecake by my fab @babsdhupia” atop the picture! Nani doing it right!

Isn't that super sweet! Also, did you know that it was after the wedding of the two, Angad broke the pregnancy news to their parents? Yes, it was during the Neha Dhupia’s chat show did we get to know of this!

He said: “Considering that you didn’t want to break the news that you were expecting, so we had to tell them that we need to get married and we love each other. I was extremely nervous because that was the judgement day, technically. To break the news to your parents, I really had cold feet as clearly it was not going to come from you (Neha). Everything had to come for me. I had to really man up and speak. I just had to blurt it out and see the reaction.”

In another interview with a media house, Neha Dhupia shared how life has changed after she and hubby, Angad attained parenthood. She said: “Angad has become calmer when it comes to movie ticket bookings. Earlier we would just spontaneously decide and go to the movies. Now it is different. I have told him to tell me one day in advance.”

"If he wants us to eat out then I have told him to tell me two days in advance because the kitchen also needs to shut down. When it comes to travelling within the country he has to tell me three weeks in advance and if abroad then at least three months in advance. We have a schedule now that we follow as husband and wife. It's a scheduled love story. We have a particular time in the day slotted just for us. Mehr has put us on a timetable. It is all just so rewarding. It has kept me very busy. It has kept me entertaining.”

It was in one more media interaction, wherein Neha spoke of the many ‘firsts’ in her life in 2018. She spoke of her daughter. “There are many firsts this year. We got married and now we are having a baby. It is a very enriching experience for me to be married to such a strong girl. I feel the credit should not be given to her. It should be given to her mother who has raised her and she talks about her very highly. Her father has been an officer and her mother is an extremely hard working woman. All the good ingredients she has imbibed from them. I am proud of her. The confidence she has is very appealing. Not just to walk the ramp but to come out and speak about the situation is very positive.
