The upcoming film is based on one of the biggest wars, the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971. It was a military confrontation between India and Pakistan that took place during the Bangladesh Liberation War in East Pakistan from December 3, 1971 until the Pakistani capitulation in Dhaka on 16 December the same year. The war began after Pakistan's preemptive ariel strikes on 11 of India’s air bases. Following which, India’s then prime minister Indira Gandhi declared war on Pakistan. This war continued for 13 days after which the Pakistani military surrendered in Dhaka and December 16 was marked as the day Bangaladesh (east Pakistan) came out as a new nation.

It further features Katter motivating his squad during the war cry and saying that in entire history no war has been fought to free another country, but, this is our opportunity to write history.
