Holi is just around the corner and we are super excited as we eagerly await a whole year for this fun-filled day. This time Holi is even more fun as it is on Friday which means a long weekend. A long weekend is equal to more fun and more crazy times.
You can do a lot of things over the weekend rather than just drenching in colours. One of our favourite pass-time is binge-watching. However, it is a headache to choose what to watch. So, here is a list of movies and series this this Friday which is also Holi. Keep this list handy and you will have a fun-filled weekend.
Bachchan Pandey
This upcoming Hindi-film starring Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez and Arshad Warsi will release on 18th March in theatres. Directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, this action comedy film is a remake 2014 Tamil film, Jigarthanda and will surely be a hit. Jigarthanda was itself inspired by a 2006 South Korean movie, A Dirty Carnival.
The film revolves around the life of a budding director, Myra Devekar who decides to study a real-life gangster for a film. Her attempts of secretly investigating the gangster by snooping around fail miserably and she gets caught by him. Further, the film takes you on a series of funny and action-packed adventures which will be quite exciting to watch.
Jalsa
Starring Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah, this film is all set to release on Amazon Prime on Holi. Directed by Suresh Triveni and produced by T-series, this drama film looks promising. The cast and the trailer make it seem like a hit and we are eagerly waiting for it.
