Paush Putrada Ekadashi
- Date - January 13
- Significance- Lord Vishnu with Sudarshan Chakra is worshiped on this particular day. A fast is also kept on this day to bear a child.

Pongal and Makar Sankranti
- Date- 14 January
- Significance- According to astrology, on this day the Sun enters Capricorn. It is believed that on this day the Sun God visits his son Shani's house.

Shatila Ekadashi
- Date - January 28

Basant Panchami
