1. Lee Dong Wook Comes From A Humble Background

Born on November 6, 1981, in Seoul, South Korea, Lee Dong Wook has three siblings, all younger than him. Reports suggest that he comes from a middle-class family. He used to live with his big family in a rural area. From an early age, he financially supported his family. While he was in high school, Lee Dong Wook got into showbiz.

Lee Dong Wook made his debut in the year 1999 with an MBC single-episode drama. After starring in the drama, he won a grand prize the same year at the V-NESS model contest. Last year, Lee Dong Wook shared a rude message he received from a fan on a private messaging feature. The controversy sparked when Lee Dong Wook called out the rude fan. In the message he was told to keep quiet because they were doing something important and kept getting notifications which were quite annoying. On reading the message, he replied, "Then why has she subscribed…" In the post, he further commented, "There are so many people who support me, wait for me, and love me unconditionally. What am I doing now? Let me come to my senses. I have a very happy job."
