Bollywood industry has many celebrity sister duos, who gives us major sibling goals. Most recent to join the list are Kriti and Nupur Sanon. While elder sister Kriti made her debut back in the year 2014, Nupur recently garnered popularity by featuring in a B Praak's music video, called Filhall alongside Akshay Kumar. Unlike her elder sister, Nupur has made a reputation in the singing line. Nupur’s songs such as Bekarar Karke, Galiyaan Channa Mereya, Hawayein and Laiyaan Laiyaan are quite popular among her fans. Despite having slightly different career preferences they both share an unbreakable bond. In fact, during a recent interview with one of the lead new agencies, Kriti spoke about their rapport.
Like any other elder sibling, Kriti talked about safeguarding her baby sister from the odds of the world. Not only is the Heropanti star protective about Nupur, but is also extremely proud of her latest endeavours. "I am five years older than Nupur... She has always been like my baby. I have seen her growing up...and now seeing her achieving her dreams, performing in front of the camera makes me very much emotional. I am very much protective and possessive about her,” said the actress.
Kriti and Nupur are no different than any other normal sister duos. The 29-year-old actress gave us fair reason to believe so. While talking further about her equation with her sister she said, “Our bond is like any sister duo would have. We are like friends. We argue..we talk...we fight and we fight on stupid things. Nupur is my biggest cheerer. Whenever I feel low she lifts up my mood and does her best to make me happy.”
During another interview with an entertainment portal, the Sanon sisters spilled beans about their fight where they hit each other. I went into my room because I was in that zone when I wanted peace and did not want anyone around. This woman (Kriti) followed me into the room and she was standing on top of my head,” revealed Nupur.

Not only Kriti but also the 24-year-old young singer also sang praises of the bond between her and her elder sibling during the promotions of her music video. Speaking to a leading newspaper she said, “Whenever Kriti compliments me about something, she also gives me some kind of negative feedback because she is very protective and she is also like my chhoti mummy."

Besides their great relationship, Nupur was nervous about her elder sister's reaction towards her work. However, Nupur revealed that her elder sister surprised her with the way she reacted towards her work. “I didn't contact her after the release of my video. I thought she would contact me after watching it because she has been away shooting in Mandawa. So, she sent me a long text message and there was nothing negative in it. She was like 'I loved the song and I am so proud of you'. I am really happy after reading her message,” said Nupur.
