Kantara Runs For 50 Days At The Box Office; Surpasses ₹300 Crore Mark

Kantara has successfully completed seven weeks at the India box office and celebrates the 50th day of its release today. With this, the movie has also collected a record-breaking total of ₹350 crores till now. The movie crossed the ₹300 crore mark on November 2, 2022.

Total Box Office Collection:-

The movie has made nearly ₹350 crores at the Indian box office as of today, with ₹344 crores. For a total worldwide revenue of ₹377 crores, it has made an additional $4 million (₹33 crores) in foreign markets, with a potential end-of-run goal of ₹400 crores.

This Kannada blockbuster has become the second-highest grosser of all time in Karnataka with ₹168 crore beating KGF 2. It is one of the most-watched movies in the state in history with over 90 lakh tickets sold, which again beats KGF with 72 lakh tickets. It has done significantly well in all the South Indian states.

About The Film:-

The movie is a period drama about nature and humans that celebrates the traditional culture of Kambla and Bhootha Kola. It is a story about less privileged people who are ignored in our Indian society. There is a conflict between the rich landlords who’ve stolen the land of the tribal people.

The movie has Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, Pramod Shetty, and Naveen D Padil in leading roles. It is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films, the banner behind the KGF franchise.

On the work front director-actor, Rishabh Shetty has been offered roles in Bollywood movies and he even appreciated the Bollywood stars and expressed his desire to work with them. And said that it would be a great opportunity for him.

The movie was released on September 30, 2022, and is also available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. According to the latest media reports this movie will also be released on Amazon Prime Video On November 24, 2022.
