We Can't Take Our Eyes Off Alia And Madhuri In Kalank Teaser, Watch It Here

The day is finally here. Ever since this multi-starrer movie was announced, everyone has been waiting to watch it. Kalank, which is directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar has great star cast - Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Varun Dhawan, Sanjay Dutt, and Aditya Roy Kapur. Set in the 1940s, this period drama is really close to Karan Johar. This was given to filmmaker Karan Johar by his father Yash Johar. Karan recently shared some posters and glimpses from the movie on his Instagram handle ahead of the teaser's release.

Bahaar Begum in the Kalank Teaser is EVERYTHING😍❤️🌹

The teaser begins with Varun narrating, "Kuchh rishte karzon ke tarah hote hain. Jinhe nibhana nahi, chukana padhta hai." While the first half gives us a glimpse of the key characters, the second half ends as Roop sits next to Dev Chaudhary on the wedding mandap. In the end Alia narrates "Jab kisi aur ki barbaadi jeet jaise laage... toh humse zyada barbaad aur koi nahi hai iss duniya mein." Varun plays Zafar in the movie and he is seen meeting Roop in a Ravan Dehan scene. This is a clear love drama but we are still not able to predict if the entire story is around Roop and Zafar's love story. Looks like the entire cast is sharing equal screen space. The teaser also shows dance sequences of Madhuri and Varun.

It is Alia Bhatt's first-period drama. In the movie, she will be seen playing the role of Roop. We all know that Alia is a great actress and she can perform any role with utmost ease. Madhuri Dixit will play the role of a courtesan Begum Bahaar in the movie. In the movie, we will get to see the reunion of 90's hit jodi - Madhuri and Sanjay Dutt on the silver screen after 21 years!

Sonakshi Sinha takes us back to the Dabangg days where she has this rustic character. She plays Satya Chaudhry in the film. On the other hand, Aditya Roy Kapoor plays Dev Chaudhary in the film. Sanjay Dutt plays Balraj Chaudhary in the movie.
