Gauri made sure that the nursery for his kids, his terrace which is a breather in a city like Mumbai, looks grand and picture-perfect. Her is a sneak peek to what his abode looks like and where all his friends party.
His house is a dream for many and the man who wears many hats in the film industry ranging from a screenwriter to acting and directing, producer, is well known in the party circuit for throwing grand parties at hisswanky duplex apartment on Carter Road, Bandra.

Gauri might have worked on the balcony and the nursery but the entire house was designed by Interior designer Simone Dubash Pundole.
Pundole told a media house: “He wanted a corporate office that was also a fun, young space. He didn’t want it to ‘scream Bollywood, or be full of posters’. When he said that, I was relieved because I was actually scared of a more Bollywood style. Karan is dignified and simple—he likes stone and doesn’t much like beige. That’s why I came up with a colour and material palette of grey, glass and wood, and the idea of using lights to accentuate and accessorise the surroundings.”
His living room is all about the natural light entering the house with ceiling flaunting wooden panels, lights being all modern designs and the sitting area is made of plush sofas in earthy hues. The walls speak of classy artworks and the centerpieces boast of taste.
His dressing room or walk-in wardrobe has a full mirror and perfect room and space all of us would love to have.
Karan became a father in 2017 via surrogacy and that is when Gauri stepped in to design the beautiful nursery. He announced the news on his Instagram with the caption: “My baby nursery designed by @gaurikhan with so much love and care…. it's my paradise!!! Love you gauri….”
When asked what kind of environment he would like to provide his kids, he said, “When I made a nursery for my kids, I made sure that I have music playing in that room all the time. Some people told me that there were Coldplay versions of nursery rhymes, but I definitely didn’t want that for them. I want them to learn and grow to the music that I grew up with because they are my children, and they have to love the music I love because they have to love me.”
