Bigg Boss, the Hindi reality show that streams both on Colors TV and Voot app, has always been about controversies and contentious contestants. Inspired by the Dutch reality television show Big Brother, the Hindi reality show is running its 16th season with actor Salman Khan as the host for the 13th time.
Every season of the show had its own set of controversial contestants who were either embroiled in some drama before entering the show or during their time inside the Bigg Boss house. However, there are many show moments that stayed with us long after the seasons ended. We refer to these moments in our daily lives. They live rent free in our lives either as memes or as a part of our daily conversations.
Here are five such phrases we picked up from Bigg Boss and couldn’t stop using ever since.
‘Pooja, what is this behaviour?’
The phrase- “‘Pooja, what is this behaviour?” that we use almost every day was first asked by Shonali Nagrani after Pooja Mishra angrily kicked a dustbin during a tiff. The phrase was followed by “You want it? You’re asking for it? You’re dying for it?”
‘Kya Karun Main… Marr Jaun’
In Bigg Boss 13, during a conversation between actor Shehnaaz Gill and late actor Siddharth Shukla, Gill says, “Mereko Feeling Nai Hai. Tumhari Feeling Tumhari. Tuada Kutta Tommy Sada Kutta Kutta. Kya karu main mar jau? Meri koi feelings nahi hai?” This clip from 2019 went so viral that it became a meme overnight.YouTuber Yashraj Mukhate rose to popularity after he made a song by remixing the conversation.
‘Talk To The Hand’
This phrase which we still haven’t gotten over since 2005 was also from the fifth season of Bigg Boss. Pooja Mishra, famous for “Pooja, what is this behaviour ” used the phrase during one of her nasty fights. Tina Datta in Bigg Boss 16 also keeps using it this season.
‘Bigg Boss Mujhe Hurt Ho Raha Hai’
During a captaincy task in Bigg Boss 8, actor Gautam Gulati who won the season was seen shouting “Bigg Boss mujhe hurt ho raha hai” and now whenever we face any slight difficulty in life we end up quoting it.
