Other than their culinary uses, these deep green leaves are also consumed for their health benefits. From maintaining your blood pressure to keeping your skin healthy, coriander has multiple benefits for our overall well-being. To make the most of the herb, you should use a fresh bunch of coriander leaves. If you don't have a coriander plant at home, here is a quick guide to grow one at home
Coriander can be grown from both cuttings and seeds. We spoke to Kamlesh Kushwaha, the gardener of the nursery located in Noida Sector 27 and he shared that a coriander plant can be grown from coriander seeds which are commonly used in Indian kitchens. Take a pot and add soil. Coriander can be grown via the direct sowing method. Crush the coriander seeds using a rolling pin as it helps boost the growth. Sprinkle these seeds all over. You can also grow coriander in rows to make the plant look cleaner.
To grow coriander from cuttings, take some coriander stems from a healthy plant. Plant these stems directly into the soil. Make sure you put the stems at a distance of 3-4 inches.
