Step 1: Get Banana Seeds

To grow a banana tree in a pot you will need banana seeds which are easily available in the market. You can get to the nursery as well to fetch banana seeds. Soak the banana seeds in warm water for 24-48 hours. The seed coat will eventually soften and the embryo will sprout quickly.

Take a container and or a pot where you want to plant your seeds and fill it with soil. Make sure to choose a large container to grow a banana plant that has a free-draining feature.
