Pressure at work and stress is inevitable even if you love what you do. You may experience pressure to meet a deadline or to fulfill a challenging obligation. But when work stress becomes chronic, it can be harmful to both physical and emotional health.
Here are a few ways in which you can deal with stress:
Maintain A Journal

Keep a journal for a week or two to identify which situations create the most stress and how you respond to them. This way you can track patterns and slowly understand and chart out your reactions.
No Binging To Fight Stress
Don't indulge in fast food or alcohol to fight the stress. Exercise is a great stress-buster. Yoga can be an excellent choice, but any form of physical activity is beneficial. Also, take out time for hobbies and favorite activities.

Establish Boundaries
Set some work-life boundaries for yourself. You could start by making it a rule to not check email from home in the evening, or not answering the phone during dinner.
Replenish

To avoid chronic stress and burnout, replenish. Switch off from work by going either on a vacation or staying home and meditate. Don’t think about office or your pending projects, just relax. It's critical to disconnect. Don't let your vacation days go to waste.
Take Short Walks Or Rounds In Between
Learn how to relax. Techniques such as meditation and deep breathing exercises can help melt away stress. Simply go for a short walk after meals, take a round in office after every hour or so to move away from your computer system.
Speak To Boss If You Are Not Happy
Healthy employees are more productive, so your boss has an incentive to create a work environment that promotes employee well-being. Have an open conversation with your supervisor. It isn't about laying out a list of complaints, but to come up with a plan for managing the stress and the people or factors responsible for the same.
