How To Clean Water Bottles From Inside?
- Always empty the water bottle first completely, dispose of any remaining liquid.
- Remove the lid and rinse in warm and soapy water.
- Pre-rinse all water bottles to loosen any debris.
Use A Dish Washing Soap
In a bowl, add water water and add a few drops of dishwashing soap. Add 1-2 tbsp of this solution to your water bottle and using a bottle brush, start scrubbing on the inside of the bottle. Pay attention to the bottom and sides where the residue usually accumulates. If the bottle has a narrow neck, add the solution to the water bottle and close it with a cap. Apple Cider Vinegar Solution
Apple cider vinegar helps remove stain, odour, and bacteria from the water bottles. Mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water. Add the ACV solution to the bottle and shake. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes. The acetic acid present in ACV will help break down the odour and stains in the bottle. Scrub with a brush and rinse thoroughly with warm water.
After cleaning your water bottles from the inside, make sure you air dry them completely. Remove the cap and lid while they dry. The bottles should have no moisture left inside or it can lead to bacterial growth. When not in use, store water bottles in a clean and dry place to prevent contamination.
