How To Clean Shower With Vinegar?

Use Vinegar And Water Solution

Materials Required:

  • 1 Cup Vinegar
  • 1 Cup Water
  • Dishwashing Liquid
  • Spray Bottle

Directions:

  • In a bowl, mix vinegar, dishwashing liquid and water. Add this solution to a spray bottle. Use this spray bottle over stains in the shower. Use undiluted vinegar on stubborn stains.
  • This spray can also be used on tiles, faucets, and floors. Wear a pair of gloves to protect your hands.
  • Let the solution sit for at least 10-15 minutes. For stubborn stains, the solution can also be kept for longer, up to an hour.

  • Use a soft brush or an old toothbrush to scrub the surface. Scrub gently in circular motions.
  • Rinse the areas with water thoroughly. Make sure you use enough water to remove the vinegar completely.

Use Vinegar And Lemon Juice Solution

Materials Required:

  • 1 Cup Vinegar
  • 2 Lemons
  • 1 Cup Water
  • Spray Bottle

Directions:

  • Mix equal parts of vinegar and water.
  • Squeeze in lemon juice and mix well.

  • Let this solution sit for 10-15 minutes.
  • The natural acidity of lemon along with vinegar helps to break down the dirt and stains.
  • Start scrubbing the surfaces gently with a brush.
  • Rinse with water and pat dry with a clean cloth.

Use Vinegar And Baking Soda Paste

Materials Required:

  • 1 Cup Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoon Baking Soda
  • Water As Required
  • Brush For Scrubbing

Directions:

  • In a bowl, add baking soda and water to make a thick paste. Apply this paste all over the shower, showerhead, faucet, tiles, and fixture.
  • Make sure you wear a pair of gloves or use a toothbrush to apply this paste.
  • Let this mixture sit for 20 minutes.
  • Next, add vinegar to a spray bottle and spritz it over the baking soda paste.
  • Use a brush to scrub off the surfaces in circular motions.

While vinegar is a natural cleaning agent and usually has no side effects, it is a good idea to do a patch test using vinegar on the surface, especially if the area is delicate to prevent damage.
