The stove top gets dirty quickly. It bears the marks of spilled oil, water, and spilled food items. Here is how you can make it shine like a new one.
Method 1
- Create a mixture of vinegar and baking soda in a ratio of 1:2.
- Apply it on the surface of the stove and leave it for about 15-20 minutes.
- Soak the cleaning towel or sponge in warm water.
- Wipe the surface with a paper towel.
- Spray vinegar after cleaning the mixture and wipe it off with a clean paper towel.
Method 3
- Make a paste of salt and baking soda in a ratio of 1:1.
- Add water to make a thick paste.
- Apply the mixture on the surface of the stove and allow it to rest for 15 minutes.
- Clean the surface with a wet towel and dry it with a cloth piece.

Clean A Glass Top Stove With Burners
- If the glass stove has burners, cleaning it can be a bit tricky. Here is how you should proceed,
- Remove burner caps and grates, and put them in a solution of dishwashing soap and water. It will soften the food particles, making them easier to clean. Scrub the grates using steel wool.
- Another method to clean burners includes a mixture of half a lemon (Use Lemon In Beauty Regime), water, a small packet of ENO, and liquid dishwashing soap. Immerse the burners in the solution and clean them using an old brush.
- Wipe the stove top with a clean cloth. Use a paper towel to clean food particles and dirt.
- Remove the fuel ports and clean them by unclogging them. You can use a dry toothbrush to ensure no particles are stuck in the holes.
- Scrub the stove top with a solution of dishwashing soap and water. You can use a sponge to prevent scratches on the surface.
- You can also clean the glass surface with a solution of vinegar and baking soda. But you must ensure that the solution does not clog fuel ports.
- Use a wet paper towel to clean the surface.
- Clean the surface with a dry cloth piece.
- After all the elements have dried up, arrange them on the stove.
