Home Trends 2020: Spruce Up Your Home With Floating Vanity, Formal Dining Room & Non White Kitchens

Bored of your home look and want to spruce up things a little? Then these Home Trends of 2020 will come to your rescue. From your kitchen to your bathroom to the dining table, things can be changed without making major changes as well. Be it the colours, the way you have arranged the table and chairs or a simple border to the bathtub, you could change things around one by one and fall in love with your house all over again.

No More White Kitchens

For a long time, the white colour has reigned in most homes as they look supreme. They are classic, clean and look good in any home style. But this year people are shifting towards light and soft hues. Light grey and blues are replacing white. You could also add a pop of colour to the cabinets.

Bathroom With Somewhere to Sit 

Nope, not the toilet seat people! A place to sit other than that. People are beginning to understand the importance of their bathrooms which are become spa-like and turning into wellness retreats right at home. You add in a bench, stools etc. In the bathroom, you should be able to pamper yourself comfortable with the face mask and all that jazz that we need in the end of the week or after a heavy day at work or for pick me up in general.

Floating Vanities

Now that we are digging into the bathroom, one more element needs to be there and that is a floating vanity. Work on the sink areas and make it look classy. Add a chest of drawers under it (floating) and turn it into a vanity. It looks minimalistic and gives you more space in your own room as a lot of skincare and appliances can shift in here.

It is not just the bathroom but also the kitchen where we spend a lot of our time depending upon your hobbies. Texture is one thing that adds depth and gives a makeover to any part of the house. Warm woods are working their way in, even if it is over cooktops as decorative range hoods. You could also work near the sink.
