According to rumours, the Google Pixel 9a is expected to debut globally on March 19, 2025, with sales starting in the US and Europe on March 26, 2025. While there’s no official word on the India launch date, it’s likely to coincide with the US release.
How Much Will the Google Pixel 9a Cost?
Leaks suggest that the Google Pixel 9a will be priced at around $499 in the US, which is ₹43,100 in India. The 256GB variant might cost $599 (approximately ₹51,800).

Based on leaks, the Pixel 9a is expected to come with a 6.3-inch OLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate for buttery-smooth visuals. The screen is rumoured to support HDR10+ and boasts a peak brightness of 2,700 nits, making it perfect for outdoor use. Plus, it’s likely to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added durability.
The phone is expected to run on the Google Tensor G4 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Powering all of this is a hefty 5,100mAh battery, which should easily last all day. Charging won’t be an issue either, with support for 23W wired charging and 7.5W wireless charging.
On the connectivity side, the Pixel 9a is rumoured to support WiFi 6e, and Bluetooth 5.3, and come with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

The Pixel 9a is expected to shine in the camera department. Rumours suggest it will feature a 48MP primary sensor paired with a 13MP ultrawide lens.
