The Shardiya Navratri started on October 15 this year and the devotees are immersed in Maa Durga’s devotion, worship and blessings. Offer Hibiscus Flower To Maa Durga

• It is believed that the hibiscus flower is Maa’s favourite and by offering it, the devotees get the immense blessings of Durga. 
• The Puranas suggest that Maa Durga resides in the hibiscus flower while the green part of the flower represents Mercury and Cauda (Ketu or the tail of Dragon).
• The saffron portion is considered to be the representation of Mars and the red part, of the sun.
• Also, the planet Jupiter or Guru resides in the germination of the flower, Rahu, in the middle part of germination and Saturn, in the last part. 
• The seed part of the flower is believed to be accommodating the moon. 
• Because of all these beliefs, you are advised to offer hibiscus flowers to Maa Durga during Navratri for wish-fulfilment.

Offer Lotus Flower To Maa Durga

• You must offer the lotus flower to Goddess Durga, especially during Navratri as it is believed that a person gets success in every field by doing this and remains under her patronage.

Offer Jasmine Flower To Maa Durga
