For a long time the Ekta Kapoor TV show "Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2" took off, fans were curious to see the chemistry between new Prerna and Anurag which are being essayed by rica Jennifer Fernandes and Parth Samthaan. The famous couple was earlier essayed by Cezanne Khan and Shweta Tiwari.

The personal life of the "Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi" actress has always been the talk of the town and her fans have always been in love with the former co-star Shaheer Sheikh, with whom she was reportedly in a relationship. But just sometime back, reports came that Erica and her Kasautii Zindagii Kay co-star, Parth Samthaan are more than ‘just friends’. But then nothing has been confirmed and Erica likes to keep her personal life under wraps.

What we want to share with you is, that recently, through an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Instagram, Erica interacted with her fans and she was bombarded flocked with the questions about her personal and professional life. Using the #AskEJF, a fan of Erica asked her to choose between Shaheer and Parth. Erica, who is a beauty with brains, answered the question with a quick wit and said: “Both are different personalities. You can’t compare them. Both are good in their own way.”

There have been major rumours on Erica dating Kasautii Zindagii Kay actor Parth post the birthday party that was hosted by the latter wherein he did not invite co-star, Hina Khan because of her friction with Erica. However, Parth rubbished the reports and said, "I like to celebrate my birthday with my loved ones and people I have been working with closely. I had planned it at the last minute. I rarely host a party and if I do, I don't like having 200 people over. I prefer an intimate gathering."

Speaking about his relationship with Erica, Parth Samthaan told media, "I have known Erica longer as we have been working in the show since day one. We are good friends and that's why I called her. On the other hand, Hina and I have a very professional relationship. I hardly know her as we have been shooting for just over a month. I don't even have her number. We respect each other's work, work well together, and have a good working relationship."

Erica was also rumoured to be dating her Shaheer in the past Sheikh. However, in a recent interview to a media house, Erica denied all sorts of these relationship rumours, and said, “Shaheer and I were good friends. We shared great chemistry because of our off-screen rapport. It’s important to enjoy a comfort level with your co-actor. It is not true that we were in a relationship, but I don’t deny the friendship. I would love to hang out with Shaheer even now, but I am busy shooting.”

In an interaction with another media house, Shaheer denied the rumours and said: "According to reports, I am dating a couple of women and I have two to three wives around the world. Erica has herself denied our relationship and expected people to respect us. But then, that's the hazard of our profession."
